I am selling many handmade silk tapestries made from unused obi (kimono sashes) that you can hang (or frame).  Depending on the piece, there are irregularities
■ in the alignment between the obi and the hanging attachment.  Please be advised when looking at the photos. Additionally, as this is silk, it can not be washed. These obi were made during “The Bubble Period” 1985-1991. As they can not be washed, please BE WARNED that depending on the piece, the piece you have bought may have a キュート musty or
■ unpleasant smell. These obi can no longer be used to wear with kimonos.  They are made from gold
■ threads and silk.  They are キュート very
■ beautiful and have wonderful patterns. I am making these tapestries as a way to reuse the wonderful art from “The Bubble Period” and to share this part of Japanese culture with people outside of Japan.
